Tour Itinerary (What You Will Experience)
1. The Athenian Riviera Drive
Our journey begins with a beautiful, relaxing drive along the coastal road of the Saronic Gulf. We will pass through Athens’ most upscale and picturesque coastal suburbs, including Glyfada, Voula, and Vouliagmeni, enjoying continuous views of the sea.
2. Lake Vouliagmeni (Photo Stop)
We will make a brief stop to admire this unique geological phenomenon. The lake is a sunken cavern filled with crystal-clear, thermal waters, surrounded by imposing rock formations—a true hidden gem of the Riviera.
3. Arrival at Cape Sounio
We reach the southernmost tip of the Attica peninsula. As we approach, the striking white marble columns of the ancient temple slowly come into view, standing proudly on a rugged cliff 60 meters above the sea.
4. The Temple of Poseidon
You will have plenty of time to explore the 5th-century BC temple dedicated to the God of the Sea. Walk the ancient grounds, take spectacular photos, and feel the mythological aura of the site where King Aegeus famously awaited his son Theseus.
5. The Sunset & Return
The absolute highlight of this tour is watching the sun dip below the Aegean horizon, painting the sky in incredible colors. After this unforgettable experience, you can sit back and relax as we drive you safely back to your accommodation.
